Speedway Children's Charities to be featured
at Kentucky
Dan
Pardus and Jim and Judie Motorsports will be
running in the inaugural ARCA race at the new Kentucky Speedway, Sunday July
3rd. The 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo will prominently display the logo of Speedway
Children's Charities on the hood.
Speedway
Children's Charities was founded by Bruton Smith, CEO of Speedway Motorsports,
Inc. in 1984 to help children. Operating as a non-profit foundation, it's
purpose is to raise funds to be distributed to Charities providing services
for children in need. The foundation has grown and now has operating chapters
at all Speedway Motorsports facilities.
The
National Board of Directors includes prominent individuals throughout the
Racing and Automotive Industry, TV and Radio broadcasters and Race car owners.
Jim
Gardner, co-owner of JJM was happy to make the announcement at his shop in
Charlotte before leaving for Kentucky. "Debbie Wilson has done a
wonderful job as National Marketing Director for Speedway Children's
Charities. Wherever we race her presence is known." Jim added.
"We're pleased to display the logo and help promote the work of the
foundation."
Additional
Information about the foundation can be found at their website. www.speedwaycharities.org
The "Kentucky 150" will be televised by Speedvision and broadcast at
a later date. Check local time and listings for coverage in your area. Stay
