NEXT STOP - BLUEGRASS COUNTRY

Dan Pardus and the Jim & Judie Motorsports Team are ready, ready, ready for the next race scheduled at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. The Blue Grass Quality Meats 200 will run on Saturday, August 26.

Speaking from his home in Port Orange, FL this week, Dan stated the team was confident they could improve on the fourth place finish they had at the Kentucky Speedway in July. “After the Pocono race in July, we participated in a Hoosier tire test at the Kentucky Speedway. The more time you can spend testing at a new facility, the more we learn about track conditions. We had good test times, were able to better define the racing lines and learn more about our car set-up. Because of rain, we had a shorten test period, but the time spent was valuable.”

Dan added, “ The team is excited about returning to Kentucky. Everything you hear about Kentucky hospitality is true. The Kentucky speedway facility is one of the finest tracks on the circuit.”

The race will be televised on Speedvision on a delayed broadcast. Dates and times of the broadcast are to be announced prior to the race date.

Co-owner Jim Gardner spoke from the team shop in Charlotte. “This is a dedicated team that has worked hard all season. They deserve a win!  Jim reflected, "I was born and raised in the Ohio Valley. I have always had a love for Kentucky. My father owned one of the first radio stations in Kentucky when he was just twelve years old, so this area means a lot to my family. Nothing would please me more than to see Dan get his first ARCA win in Kentucky.”
