Dan Tests at Atlanta

Dan participated in the ARCA test day at the ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY on Monday, October 30. The test day was in preparation for the ARCA season finale, The GEORGIA BOOT 400 on Saturday, November 18 at the Atlanta area track in Hampton, GA.

Dan's fast lap was @180.704 around the 1.54 paved oval. It was 14th fastest on the speed chart for the day.

Crew Chief, Larry Moore explained after the session. "This was a test day, not a race. It's always nice to be on top of the speed chart, but we were here to get some track time and try out different set-ups.' Larry added, 'We are leaving the track with valuable info and we plan to make some changes on the car at the shop in Charlotte. We'll be ready to compete on race weekend."

There were 33 teams participating in the Test day. Team owner, Jim Gardner added, "Atlanta is always an exciting weekend. There are 43 entries now, and I expect there will be more. The race will run in conjunction with the season finale of the Winston Cup schedule so there is an adrenaline high for both the fans and drivers. We intend to be running up front, at both the start and finish of the race."

The race will be televised on a delayed schedule on Sunday, November 19th, following the Winston Cup race. Check local listings for time and channel.
