MICHIGAN PREPARATION

What does a Driver-Owner do between races? If your Dan Pardus, you design, build, install, fabricate, weld, bondo, prime and paint your next racecar. There are just three weeks between the Easy Care 100 Race in Charlotte and the next superspeedway ARCA race in Brooklyn, Michigan on June 10th. Jim & Judie Motorsports will be running a new 2000 Monte Carlo at this race.

Co-Owner Jim Gardner noted, "We left the track on Saturday night in Charlotte, and were here at the shop Sunday morning Dan sanding away working on the new Monte Carlo. This is not a static sport, if you're not building, you're changing. Constant change and improvement is the key to winning."

Jim gave a grin. "I've been building and tinkering with race cars for over forty years. The perfect one won't be built until tomorrow."

Dan added, "We'll be taking the new car to Michigan without track testing, but we're confident the new 2000 Monte Carlo body refinements will make us a front runner." Fresh Metal

The Flagstar 200 will be run at the Michigan Speedway on Saturday, June 10. The 100 lap event will be televised live at 1:00PM on ESPN.
